I don't think the Bookmark database changes will be automatically updated. One, bookmark.nsf is a local file, so the server design refresh process that occurs nightly will not help. Second, if you look at the bookmark.nsf database properties, on the design tab, there is no template listed to inherit from (not on mine anyway).
